Melba's Food Hall opened its doors at 42 Grantham St Brunswick West in mid September 2007.

Owners Lou & Mick Ponte bring to Melba's a history of three generations in the fresh produce industry in Melbourne. Their passion for produce and food has been an inspiration behind the creation and development of Melba's Food Hall.

There’s a discerning ’foodie’ in all of us, and Melba's Food Hall is the perfect place to shop for a great selection of seasonal fruit & vegetables at market prices as well as our range of nuts and grains all hygienically packaged for your convenience.

You can also feast on the finest selection of local & imported pasta, sauces, confectionary and groceries. Feast your eyes on our carefully selected range of local, imported and organic wines. Or if beer is your thing, we have a great range of locally brewed beers and our selection of imported beers from throughout the globe.

Indulge your tastebuds with Melba's fresh daily baked bread from the Artisan Baker Daniel Di Chirico or select from the other bakes including fresh ciabatta rolls, Turkish bread and traditional Greek Pita bread.

Our ‘cut on demand’ delicatessen offers a wide range of fresh cold meats, cheeses (both local & imported) and a great selection of antipastos and dips. Melba's organic & gluten free section features certified organic fresh produce and a complete range of organic groceries. The gluten free foods range from bread, cakes, pasta, cereals, jams, sauces and even beer.

And when you’re done with your shopping, you can relax in our open air coffee shop and absorb the aroma and taste of our range of Monte Coffee. While you’re there, why not even spoil yourself with the divine pastries and cakes on offer.
